Everyone is here for the same reason, but not everyone can be trusted. Patients fear letting their secrets out, in fear of having them discovered, so many keep journals or diaries to record their lives. Just don't leave it lying around, then anyone can read it.

This is where all of the male patients will be staying. Two people to a room, and there are no girls allowed on the premises. Getting caught with a female patient in your room will land you both in cells for the night.

This is the main office, which you come into immediately after walking through the front doors. It's probably the last place you'll see connected to the outside world. A guarded, steel-enforced door leads into the main building. It's meaning is clear; once you come in, you don't get out.

The lounge is a privilege that all patients start out with when they first arrive. Depending on your behavior, you may or may not keep this privilege. It's a place to sit around and talk to the other patients, about life and whatever else is on your mind. Staff are allowed in these rooms however, so don't think you're safe.

This is the lounge where therapists and guards can hang out. Believe it or not, it's tiring work dealing with psychopaths and delinquents all day long. It's relaxing to sit back and have a cup of coffee. Patients are most definitely not allowed in this room, though some have broken in a few times.

There are three meals served at the asylum, breakfast lunch and dinner. There's only an hour allotted for each meal, and if you miss one, you're out of luck and won't be eating it with anyone else. Staff are plentiful here, as things tend to get rowdy with everyone packed into one room.

There are many hallways and corridors that intersect to form the maze of paths to every room and office on the lower floor of the building. There are very few windows, and those that do exist are small and let in little light. Of course, there's lighting in the ceiling, but many broken bulbs lay untouched by the maintenance crew.

Unfortunately for the girls whose rooms are located in the upper wing of the female rooms, the girls lavatories are all the way on the first floor. You better make sure you get there quick, else you'll be punished for making a mess of the halls.

The stairwell leading down into the basement is located at the end of an otherwise empty hallway on the first floor. The underground sub-level used to be a dungeon, and so the cells make a great place to throw the misbehaving or perhaps simply irritating patients for a while. Screams echo from all around down here, the walls are made of stone so sound carries easily. The floor is often damp, and the air smells stiff and old.

Patients hate these rooms. In fact, everyone hates them. The therapists don't want to be stuck in there discussing your many problems anymore than you do. But it can't be helped, just suck it up and get it over with, that's your best bet.

It's just your typical washroom, except some patients chose to spray graffiti on the wall. You can sometimes find a razorblade or two in them as well, as only the bathrooms are camera-free. The staff aren't interested in watching you do your business.

Linking the upstairs rooms are a maze-like array of hallways and corridors, and some of them lead down to parts of the building that aren't being used, though there are still cameras down the dead ends. It's relatively easy to get lost, even if you work here.

If one was to walk into the visitors quarters, they'd assume that the asylum was normal and regulated. It's nicely decorated and the lights are always functioning. The patients are only allowed one visitation per year, and are warned that all others will be banned if they open their mouths about the truth in the institution, so outsiders are kept well unawares.

Alright, we understand that every member has a life and so can't be on here as often as we'd like. But if you're going to be away for an extended period of time, make sure and post so we don't think you've left us for good, for your character might be deleted.
